I find the whole issue is much larger than just this. I am very concerned about Kim Jong Il. He is a very dangerous man and a hippocrite. Last time I checked, communism was not supposed to be a plurocratic dictator living in palaces while the rest of the people share a small piece of the pie. Everyone in a communist society is supposed to be equal. This is why communism fails. It is because the leaders suck. Same thing is true for most communist societies. The leaders have no right to have more than the people.

The whole missile thing is really messed up. The good ole USA is supposed to be trying to downsize it's nuclear arsenal but ole' bushy boy keeps wanting to expand it which is completely against the NNT! Him and his buddies make tons of money of weapons so let's keep making them so you and halliburton keep getting paid.. No private company should ever make money off of war and killing people. It should be against the law for defense contractors to be private entities. Bush should be impeached.

This is not a new issue it has been going on for years .It has just not been as visible in the press because it wasn't an exclusive story.I was station in South Korea I know what life is like there the lifestyle is very different then ours the treat of war is taken very serious there.We would have alerts almost every other day .this was back in 1985-1986 .So the fact that they are shooting missiles now comes as no surprise.The war has never ended there the was no peace treaty just a cease fire that has been going on for 50 + years.T he threat is real an needs to be taken .It is just the past keeps creeping up on the USA.

I think this is a great opportunity for the U.S. in foreign policy. We are too stretched out around the world. Hopefully this will push the chinese into taking a stronger position with the north koreans. Also, I believe that we should definitely help strength the Japanese military. Historically this may be a bad idea but they are our closest allies in this region next to the south koreans. The Japanese are the ideal candidate to counterbalance the totalitarian governments in the asian region.
