I personally don't have that many kids.. but I'm only 24, and I plan to have more.. and my want for a large family comes from my own childhood.. my mother had 7 kids.. and it was great.. Things seem to go smoother with more kids.. when you have one or 2, it's easy to be disinterested and let them do their own thing most of the time, but when you have more.. you have to make a game plan.. and it sometimes makes it easier. I hope to have atleast 5..my hubby wants like 7.. he grew up in a large family too.. but the only way I'm having 7 kids.. is if some of them end up being twins.. cause pregnancy when you have other kids running around is hard.. and you know what I'm talking about. GOOD LUCK..

Not alone girlfriend!!! lots of family with lots of kids. what fun! I love the holidays.... its so much fun to see what they have bought eachother.... and the memories they will have... I have 5 boys. four are mine and hubby and the other is hubby and ex. wouldn't change it for the world.
Sounds like your unsure? purhaps someone in your extended family doesn't approve. I have that problem! noone seems to understand. and we are thinking about another one, hoping for a girl. at least it would be nice! I work 40 + hours a week outside of the home and still manage to get it all done. granite i am tired all the time, but its soooo worth it all. and for the dummy who was an a**, not all of us are baby making machines barefoot and pregnant with no edscation! Just so happen to own my own business, bought my own house (with out my husband) and could support my children with no problem. So as far as the rude comments I take affence and I think you owe this lovely women an appoligee. And all the women in the world who work hard to take care of their families, weather or not they work outside the home. Because staying at home is a job in itself when there are children involved. Hats off to all the mothers in the world! And god bless your beautiful family and good luck with #5. And there is nothing wrong with lots of kids, the more the smiles, hugs and kisses you get! :)

There are some really rude people out there. I am a mom of 4. 3 1/2 to 13 years. One has ADHD and another has Celiac Disease. I love kids and would love to have had more (I've been a foster parent too). Kids are lots of fun and keep you young. Feel free to email me at sandysstyles@yahoo.com if you'd like to chat.

Hi, I am a mother of seven, and all I can say is that it is very hard work but also very rewarding, I count my blessings every day for what I have. A large family is great, your childrens childhood is spent with their siblings creating memories for years to come, they learn to share, have patience and not take anything for granted. They teach themselves these, through each other. Ok you will find it tough, I do, it isnt easy at all, but when you watch them and what they become, it makes it all worth it. Every day is precious as they dont stay children to long, but remember to think of yourself too, time for yourself to relax, a happy mum means happy kids and vice versa. Congratulations to you on number 5 and may you find enjoyment in bringing up your wonderful family. Good luck

I am 25 with three kids aged 5, 3 and 7 months and although hard work bring me nothing but love and joy. I think you will find most people who have left bad comments are those without children who cannot possibly understand the happiness a big family brings

I had my 5th baby 7 weeks ago. I thought it would be hard, but i actually have MORE help now than i did before!
My children are 16,14,8 and 7 and all help look after the baby.
I had a home-birth and they saw him just minutes after he was born and they were so excited!
Dont worry about these people who think you`re mad if you have a large family! What do they know?
After all - its OUR choice about how many children we want - no-one elses!
Good luck !!

I have 5 children, the eldest 20, 18, 15, 14 and the youngest is almost 2.....I think it's easier the more children you have, as the siblings can help entertain the baby. Having said that, my baby wasn't planned, but woudl not be without him now.
