We are not at all wasting our time here as we are trying to make it for Someones day, some little help of a little problem or question within our own work or world, which also comes as a part of this wonderful world out there .

I'm not wasting my time here. You seem like you're wasting your time here. This site has allowed me to learn so much whether its from asking a question of giving an answer. Its got my thinking bag going to tell you the truth. I like it here and its fun, besides I've had some great laughs from some people's answers (no offense anyone). Who says this world is not as wonderful as out there.

I think there are lots of reasons, everyone is different.
I think the reason I'm doing it at the moment is that I'm recovering from an important relationship ending.....
Going on YA takes my mind off the emotional pain...... (get the violins out!)
I also like the thought of being in contact with thousands of other people from different countries and cultures. That feels good.
I totally agree with you, there is a wonderful world out there, and part of its wonderfullness is being able to do Y A!!
There are times when people want a break from the real world, I guess. But good to know that it is still out there!!!

I for one am extremely happy to be "wasting time" here, I have the day off, enjoying laying in bed and hanging out on the "net". The world can wait for me a little later. For you my friend, I hope you have a wonderful day whatever you decided to do!

I just came in from the wonderful world - I saw more than 100 butterflies flying through the dog park that we were at, playing with our dog of course! Personally, I am taking a break from the sun, cooling off, and giving myself a few more minutes before I go back out into the world!

We all have 24 hours in a day to spend, what we each do with our time is up to the individual. I enjoy the give and take of this site.

Because we're basically sociable, curious, have nothing more urgent to do, and are intrigued by the possibility of chalking up a "best answer" ... to help someone, and boost our ego. We all need to be valued and don't have a captive congregation.

Because I ran out of bus fare and happened to find a laptop near a hot spot which happens to be near my bus stop.
