If you want a simple answer the best temeperature is room temperature, which is roughly 70 degrees.
If your prefer a extend version, here you go.
This question is similar to why does 50 degrees in the spring feel much different than 50 degrees in the fall. Well for the most part our bodies get accustomed to a certain rate of metabolic activity to accomodate for the temperature change in our environment. So if its 80 degrees one week, and its 60 degrees the following week, your body is used to dealing with the high temperature, and the same is true, that if its 30 degrees for a few days, then it raises to 50 degrees, you'll find the weather to be hot.

I have always said that when I would hear someone complaining. When it's HOT we turn on the Air Conditioners till we have to wear a sweater. And then when it's COLD we got the heaters going so hot we can wear shots.

I rarely compare its too cold, maybe if its midwinter and I'm playing rugby, but other than that almost never.
On the other hand, I think its much to how from easter through to september, and I live in england, not exactly heat wave country.
That is because in winter you can switch the radiators on, in summer there isn't much you can do.
I'm a very warm, hardy person though, so that opinion may be reasonably unique.
Aside from that, humans have a confortable tempeature, in winter it gets to low to be comfortable, in summer it gets to hot, in spring and autumn it's much better.

Because when it is hot, it is too hot and when it is cold it is too cold. Nobody complains when it is in between.

i imagine it really is likely some thing to do with the actual undeniable actuality that that is meant to be summer season warmth with the the occasional rain showers and not in any respect raining each and every of the time and chilly. 3 Months of wintry climate and 9 months of undesirable climate it really is' the way it variety of feels to be lately. So is it any ask your self that we whinge and are disillusioned by using the summer season climate we are having.

Tell me about it. In the summer we use our air and it is colder in here then it is in the winter but no one complains but let me turn the thermostat down in the winter to say 68 and everyone walks around here like they are freezing to death

If you listen as the days, weeks, months and years go by it is a topic of conversation that anyone can join in and understand it.
It really is an icebreaker if you wont to converse with anyone but on the shy side.
So this topic of conversation will never die.

Can't stand the winter cold though... Snow is horrible.
