Oreo's choice of American Idol's Randy Jackson as lead of the company's Oreo & Milk Jingle Contest appears stereotypical.

Randy appears in ads and on packaging promoting the contest. No one needs me to point out the term "oreo" is slang for "African Americans" that the black community generally finds offensive. It is used when an African American is seen as having betrayed their roots by dating caucasion girls, dressing too white, talking too white, etc.

This combo is about as stereotypical as it gets.

I would like to add the " born free" commercials to this list of shame. It shows white Americans smiling and walking confidently singing "Born Free as free as the wind blows" . This ad starts with a White woman, then a White man in a business suit walking through town, then some white average - looks guy, and then finally an African American woman dressed like a bag lady, taking money out of an ATM in an all white town in an all white store as she sings the final verse of "Born Free" clutching her money. Its so obvious its disgusting. Frankly, its a disgrace. Very offensive. Makes the viewer wonder if we are "free" at all. What does this have to do with banking? Check it out. More than stereotypical it's just racist and offensive, Just my two cents.

My husband hates the ones that bash men and child rearing. He gets very offended because he says they are saying that men are dumb.

That one that has the "poser" mobile for Virgin mobile. Of course, Virgin Records has no shame so they don't care who they offend.
