Including private contributions the Americans are little better. If you give me a little time I can put a link to a source with these figures (although I doubt you would bother reading an extensive report)

AND I'M TALKING AID AS GNP PERCENTAGE. America wouldn't be expected to give the same as San Marino.

A couple of things you should understand about what you've read..
1. The chart you look at probably only includes governmental monies given. We here in the USA believe that citizens are generous, governments just rob Peter to pay Paul.
2. The USA has the highest in absolute dollars. But the biased web page doesn't want to consider that.
3. And how much money do we have to 'give', - so that you'll stop calling us 'stingy'.. Since you've stated the problem, - then what's the solution?? And besides, - I've just about had it with others telling me what I ought to do with MY money!!

I guess I can't answer your question since I don't agree with the assumption you first base yourself on: Americans are so stingy. Yes, initially, this country was stolen violently from the Native Americans. But today's Americans are not stingy. I am not even sure what you are referring to. Do they pay for you in a restaurant? Do they contribute to international aid organizations? Americans are no more nor less stingy than anybody.

people like you should have they throat slit in public for being so dumb. if you look at the history of the planet its called war and the winner occupies the land. at any giving moment Russia and china is coming for America and winner keeps the land. plus the way a government takes a country has no bearing on how stingy the people are. I'm sure all Americans that have the extra money donate to the cause that they believe in.

Your question is inflammatory, but let me take a moment to answer anyhow.
First of all, your statistics (if they are correct) refer to only one facet of charity, instituted solely by the government and not by the population at large, per capita. So your question is already misleading.
Second, the majority of individual Americans have their net worth defined by money they make in the business world and not through the direct ownership of land. So if you went to an American and declared that their worth is due to "blood money," it wouldn't mean much of anything to them.
Finally, I would argue that accusing the US of stealing a country is rather obtuse. If you want to be technical about it, it was Britain, France and Spain that stole most of it to start. And furthermore, name me a country in the fast few centuries that hasn't been a conquerer or conquered.
I hope that I've made a good argument. This kind of inflammatory remark only makes everyone spiteful or resentful.

I stole nothing. My ancestors didn't either. I'm part Blackfoot Indian, and the other half of my family came to America about 100 years ago. Sorry we stole nothing, and you could never call my family stingy. Both sides of my family worked their butts off farming and in a self started cattle company. The worked all of their lives, and handled their business to make sure they could live without any help from state governments.
So the next time you post a question like this, be very specific about who you are talking about!!!!

One, you can't blame the people of today for something that their ancestors did, that's just childish (like the bloody Sorry Day in Australia, What the f**k?))
secondly, if you think about it, every country has been stolen at some point in time.
Anyway, did the natives make the earth? NO, and that is what provides the natural riches. Not people, we just learnt how to cultivate it.

This is often a misconception. Even when tragedies such as Hurricane Katrina, and the Earthquake in India takes place, Americans send their donations in totaling well over 1.6 billion according to CNN news channel. It is the government that steals from the people when they put our country in a budget deficit, and misuse their power given by the people. Sad, but true irony.

It has no longer something to do with being American. some Protestant Christians basically evaluate the ideals of Catholicism to be so different from Biblical Christianity as to no longer qualify as Christianity in any respect. by way of an identical token, many Roman Catholics and jap Orthodox have faith that Protestantism is so different from historic Christianity as to no longer qualify as Christianity the two. This has been genuine because of the fact the Reformation itself. It grow to be genuine when you consider that till now there have been any ecu colonies interior the hot international.

You have extraordinarily low reading comprehension skills my friend.
The page specifically states: "The number of dollars allocated in the federal budget ..."
That has nothing to do with the amount of money given by Americans, only what is given by Americans by way of tax and spend policies of its government. Americans personal giving coupled with the giving of its government is an amount unrivaled by any country.

I didn't steal anything. Although I have a feeling you may have a little bit of a grudge against the good people of the United States. :)
