So totally normal and a wonderful sign that everything is going as planned! The secretion is called colostrum and it is the first stage of your breast milk. This is a very important dietary source for your newborn as its filled with antibodies and is highly digestable. You will probably see an appearance off and on throughout your pregnancy. If you have any concerns I would suggest you call your local La Leche League listed in your phone book. Good luck and enjoy all to come!

Although your milk won't come in until a day or two after you give birth, your body is preparing for the baby already. The natural swelling of your breasts during pregnancy could have cleared a small infection in one of your milk ducts causing the discharge. It happened with 2 of my 4 pregnancies. It never caused me a problem. Hope that helps.

That is normal. That liquid is called colostrum. It's what your breasts produce until your actual milk comes in, 1-4 days on average after you have your baby.

Breastfeeding consultants call it "Liquid Gold", due to the color of it, and the fact that it is very high in nutrients for your baby.

The only problem that it ever caused for me while pregnant, is sometimes I would leak a little in my bra, and it would dry which would make my nipple stick to the bra. You can get nursing pads, which are soft, absorbent, and disposable to protect yourself from that problem, and embarrassing wet marks on your shirt.

Yes it is usually normal. This shows that your high level of hormones are working on your breasts to prepare them to lactate the baby as soon he or she is out of you womb.
