Regrettably, because transgender people don't follow gender expectations, it's definitely considered "queer" (which covers gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender without spelling out the letters). Personally, as a gay man, I would date (and have sex with, at the appropriate time) a transman. A transgirl, though, I would have no desire for.

Well, gay is only when the person is attracted only to the same sex,...so figure out the answer.

I think you are asking whether it is gay for a man to have sex with a transsexual who now Identifies as female?
Probably not, it might be considered kinky tho. Depends.
But moreover, what does it matter if it's "gay" or not. If they have a meaningful and respectul relationship, it's cool.

Depends, on whether the person who had the operation was m2f or f2m.

not gay. If the guy doesn't have a penis, I don't want him near me naked -- and I'm gay.

Let's do away with the labels and just enjoy what we enjoy and not concern ourselves. We are what we are - sexual beings.
