because our culture is money oriented. it's all about money and how much we can make. why are there empty houses with no one living in them and so many homeless. families even. children with no where to lay their head except on the cold concrete. it is a crying shame. as rich as our country is yet we can't take care of our citizens.

I do not believe that starvation is related to food production anymore. If it was truly a priority of the world to make sure that everyone is fed everyday, then no one would go to bed hungry. Unfortunately, we let politics, egos, money, and apathy get in the way of getting food to the people who need it.

I remember a few years ago, there was huge problems with starvation in North Korea. Help was offered to them and they accepted. However, they used the food to keep their military strong instead of sending it all to the starving. Of course, the rulers never missed a meal.

its distribution, some people are live in remote areas, and other people live too far from the places that produce all the food

say, the bread basket of the united states, to africa. long distance, hard to get it there, hard to get it to the people who need most. that why the US went to somalia in the early 90's
