I think people complain about it because sex has been seen as a sin from religious point of view. And you know church has such a trumendeus influence on some people about making rules on what's right and what's not. And people then take them serioulsy. Sex is just so pleasant and people belive that you're suppose to suffer in order to go to heaven. So killing someone would be more acceptable than having sex with them. It's a horrible mentality. But personally i totally agree with you on everything you said.

I completely agree. It's as if the message given to society is - hey, it's OK to be violent and commit murder, but not to do something life'affirming and natural like having sex.
Your question is well put - I think we'd all prefer a shag!

A shag is much more preferable. The only problem with sex on TV is that I keep falling off the TV set.

None of the above.. why would you want to watch sex or murder on tv.. it's not as if you want to have anyone else in the bedroom (or the whole world) when you're being intimate with someone.. nor would you want the rest of the world to see if you'd commit murder.. so if we don't do those things in public in real life.. don't show them on tv!!

YES!!!! i have been trying to get this point across to people for years!!! people say ooh but you might encourage children to have sex young.....i'd sure rather my kid or me had sex at a young age than started beating people up or using a gun (at any age!). i think naked bodies portrayed in a natural way (i.e not sickly thin, or airbrushed to oblivion) should be much more accpetable on the tv, and swearing, rather than violence and guns and horror.

I know what you mean, but when you are sat in front of the telly with your Ma and a bloke is giving a lady oral sex, that's a bit uncomfortable.
