No, it was a matter of a passive coach, which made his team play like him. The ones that would make the team have a quick attack, like Robinho, were on the bench and were not considered to replace one of the two strikers with the same style (Ronaldo and Adriano both wait the ball, and don't run to give more options to who has it). In the game against France he tried to change it but that team never played with that formation before.

In the confederations cup, it was basically the same team, but with Robinho instead of Ronaldo, which made the team alot quicker. Parreira ignored this detail, and even said angry to a reporter "Didn't you see the conf. cup?!?!" when was asked if he didn't think some substitutes should start playing...

It was a whole tactical mess for Brazil this year, Parreira proved he couldn't control a team full of stars, one needs big authority to manage this kind of team. Is the coach of Barcelona, Chelsea and other big clubs so passive? Are they afraid of yelling at his superstars when they are bing useless? Nope... but Parreira and Sven are, and you could see the results of two with incredible players, but weren't able to play together thanks to the lack of a leader.

Some people try to play pranks if they do not get results of various things according to their wishes. This is a prank. No way one can say that Brazil was paid to lose the match to France.

That's for sure plus isn't the first time that something like that happened. It's impossible for those whom have a little knowledge about the sport to believe that high level players can suddenly not know how to even kick a ball straight.
You shouldn't ask this here, Americans have no knowledge about this sport at all..
