Everyone has a opinion about politics. I could care less if the Dixie Chicks are for or against President Bush. For them to use their popularity to bash the President is wrong. Hey he might not be the best president, but he is still our president. If no one supported our leaders we would have anarchy. I think it is very shallow to hate your president just because you are a democrat. In this day and age the international scene is very complicated. If nothing else following a leader at least indicated loyalty. Some direction is better than no direction. The Dixie Chick should stick to making music. If they can't keep their mouths shut perhaps they should become politicians.

they're lame. everyone in hollywood or any musician that spouts his or her mouth about politics is lifeless to me. under no circumstances will i purchase a lame pretend CD from this sh1tty band lower back clone of I received't see a movie with George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Sean Penn, Janine Garafalo, and many many extra. keep on with what they receives a fee to do - entertain (or a minimum of attempt because they suck at it any way) do not discuss politics because they understand not some thing about it.

They are entitled to their own opinions I suppose. However, they should learn to use tact and not broadcast it to the whole world. They should also not make fun of another artist for his or her views. If they want respect from anyone, they had better give some first.

I think its silly. Maybe they should have not expressed their views so openly, but its a free country. I was even actually proud of them when they did it.
