Thylawyer, I was referring to the comments the Dixie Chicks made in the UK recently. And as far as "beating my wife" .... I am a happily married lady, you asshole.

wyldfyr- I beg to differ...

"A lot of pandering started going on, and you'd see soldiers and the American flag in every video. It became a sickening display of ultra-patriotism."

"The entire country may disagree with me, but I dont understand the necessity of patriotism," Mains resumes, through gritted teeth. "Why do you have to be a patriot? About what? This land is our land? Why? You can like where you live and like your life, but as for loving the whole country... I dont see why people care about patriotism."

I don't think of anything said by celebrities as something to take seriously. Most of the time they're promoting themselves and not the cause.

No celebrities have ever said that they don't believe in patriotism. When celebrities such as the Dixie Chicks publicly question the wrong and immoral policies of the corrupt administration they are exercising their constitutional rights and are the real patriots in this country.

I'm not worried about Patriotism. What I want to see are Celebrities who still have values and morals for the important things in life, like peace and human life.
