OMG that is sooo funny. I put mascara on with my mouth closed but I always have my mouth open when I put eyeliner on, lol. I can honestly say that I don't think most women even know that we do it. We are so busy paying attention to the detail of our eye that we don't even think about our mouth. I didn't know until some ex bf was watchin' me put my makeup on and asked me why my mouth was open. All I could say was "I Don't Know, lol"

You mean why do women make a funny face while putting on mascara.Because we can put on mascara with our mouths closed but we really do make a funny face while doing so

Better yet, why don't I open my mouth when everyone else does?
It's a concentration thing. Goes back to the cave days when they all walked around with their mouthes open due to lower intelligence.
When you are concentrating so hard on not poking your eye out and also getting the lashes just right you lose control over other things like the conscienceness of keeping your mouth closed.

that i would think is a false question. Because i know people that put it on with their mouth closed all the time! But for other people that happen to not be able to do it with their mouth closed or just do it with their mouth open i would say would either be a muscle reflex or just a simple habit.

women can't mascara on without there mouth being open, because it's easier so they won't mess up and some women are trying to see what there doing by opening there eyes wide enough. So there for there mouth be open to concentrate.

Women can put on mascara without opening their mouth, but when you open your mouth it makes your eyes open wider so that it is easier to put the mascara on.

I think you would understand why if you tried putting mascara on!!
It takes a lot of concentration to get it right.

since u have noticed this...u also must have noticed that when she is putting the mascara...the hand normally rests on the nose or cheek...so the breathing is disturb...in order to breathe...she opens her mouth...
btw...people can never sneeze with their eyes open....
