Some time ago i asked a question about abortions, and some girl got pretty heated about it. She made it clear she was pro choice, but what tripped me out was what she said next. She said that it is not murder to have an abortion because the baby isn't born yet. She then said that i should be lucky my mom didn't use her freedom of choice to murder me in the womb, does that make sense to anyone?

I'm not quite sure what her point was. If she said she was pro choice then used the word "murder" to refer to an unborn baby in her next sentence, maybe she needs to re-think the whole issue of abortion in general, since one of the reasons pro choicers say abortion is ok is "it's not a human yet; therefore it isn't murder."

Enterrador--You have been doing this long enough to know by now that there are just some really DUMB people answering questions. It could just be that she is an idiot.
BUT--(always a big but somewhere) when you bring up emotionally charged issues such as abortion people start getting worked up and their thought process gets a little weird. Their brain and emotions get ahead of their fingers, typing and yelling and then they are so excited to get their point across they don't spell check or even proof read just what they said. So it all comes out convoluted.
Those are my best guesses anyway.

She was saying that you are lucky to be alive.
And she was right, abortion is not murder. In fact if there is a sin it is by the pro life movement. My God invented abortion in the form of miscarriage. He knows when it is better for a child not to be born. For example he knows when a child may have problems in the future and allows abortion or miscarriage. He also knows that sometimes the problem is not with the child but with the mother or society. In these cases abortion is right. MY GOD does not kill in abortion. MY GOD takes the soul of the child and protects it. The god of the pro life movement though kills the fetus along with doctors. And they bomb clinics and harasses women. That is why I chose to follow Christ.

ignorance. from the point of conception that child has the right to live. if she did not want a baby she should not have laid down. children are precious gifts not to be taken lightly. IT IS COLD BLOODED MURDER. plain and simple. when she said what she did she was trying to justify herself. there is no justifying abortion except in the case of eminent death. she still hurts for the baby she gave up.
