I, like another user on this site, am often surprised at how Americans are lumped under one definition.

I have decided to ask the same question because at this time of day there are more likely to be European users about so I can get their views!

Seriously, neither WAR nor FREE describe America, they are simply parts of it.

I am looking for serious answers here and remember there is ten points at stake which I am always careful to award to the truly best answer!

For the idiot that said that there is a bridge older than America in the UK somewhere, there isn't. There is however, a bridge older than the United States of America, there is a difference moron.

My house is older than the USA, but definitely not older than America.

Grow up and stop the america bashing, it's kinda like bashing your little brother really isn't it!

Beautiful
Vast
multi-cultural
Intimidating
endless possibilities
Great variety

This was to describe the country itself, not necessarily all the people. But I wouldn't leave it to go anywhere else. It is a land of great opportunity and great beauty, and I will not let a few ignorant citizens ruin that for me.

Sorry this was a little over 10 words

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY I THOUGHT NY WAS THE BEST PLACE I'VE EVER VISITED BUT AS FOR THE REST OF IT NOT HAVING BEEN THERE I CAN'T COMMENT BUT I DID FIND THIS THAT SHOULD GIVE YOU A CHUCKLE

To quote the American Journalist H. L. Mencken

"the most timorous, snivelling, poltroonish, ignominious mob of serfs and goose-steppers who ever gathered under one flag in Christendom since the end of the Middle Ages."

P.S NOT MY OPPINION!!!
