The reason why the WORLD(other than USA) is crazy about football(soccer) is because it is so easy to play. All you need is a round ball and a preferably rectangular bit of somewhat level ground. Everything else (goalposts, referees, spectators, full teams of 11 players, etc.) is optional. You don't need any special equipment and you don't even need shoes. That's why football is so popular.
Almost every country in the world has a football team, if not football leagues. Also, with over 300 million viewers worldwide watching the FIFA World Cup, the American Superbowl is peanuts in comparison.

they think it's man sport and you have to be tuff. it's a chance to show off there sports abilitys. and maybe get the cheerleaders.
I'm a cheerleader and there is a loser play football that I don't like.
so It doesn't really matter. but there is also a guy that is hot on
the team. but I would like him even if he wasn't.

oh yeah, football unites the world over, but probably not in United States. they watch American football instead, boring!!

because its the only sport that is celebrated around the world by pretty much every country...except the united states.
its also exciting and unpredictable!
