Hartsfield Jackson in Atlanta still cycles through more passengers every day than any other airport in the world.
O'hare in Chicago and Hartsfield Jackson, continue to alternate the most flights.
With Hartsfield Jackson's new 5th runway, it should become the clear leader on flights and passengers this year.

I think you will find that the airport for traffic is O'hare as many have said for passengers it is Heathrow. If you had said airfield it would be Kidlington in Oxfordshire, as it is the central school of flying so there are more take offs and landings there than anywhere else. (Touch and goes so to speak)

I'd be willing to bet it is Tokyo Narita, but you need to quantify what is meant by the "busiest" airport. Number of flights departing and arriving (daily, weekly, etc.), number of passengers arriving/departing, etc.
