I think that Hitler wasn't a Christian because wasn't Jesus a Jew? That would mean that Hitler was praising a Jew! That doesn't make sense at all. By the way this isn't my idea, I read it from a very interesting website. I've foggoten the name but will search for it and list it here.

Hitler was a Roman Catholic.

You will find it in Mein Kampf: "Therefore, I am convinced that I am acting as the agent of our Creator. By fighting off the Jews, I am doing the Lord's Work."

Hitler said it again at a Nazi Christmas celebration in 1926: "Christ was the greatest early fighter in the battle against the world enemy, the Jews ... The work that Christ started but could not finish, I -- Adolf Hitler -- will conclude."

In a Reichstag speech in 1938, Hitler again echoed the religious origins of his crusade. "I believe today that I am acting in the sense of the Almighty Creator. By warding off the Jews, I am fighting for the Lord's work."

Hitler regarded himself as a Catholic until he died. "I am now as before a Catholic and will always remain so," he told Gerhard Engel, one of his generals, in 1941.

If you read between the lines, below, you'll find that Hitler was pretty much a Pagan, -but used christian (like) terminolgy to further his agenda for a national identity and against the jews.

...Hitler and other Nazi leaders clearly made use of both Christian and Pagan symbolism and emotion in propagandizing the Germanic public, and it remains a matter of controversy whether Hitler believed himself a Christian, a heathen, or something else entirely. Some historians have typified Hitler as a Satanist or occultist, whereas other writers have referred to Nazism's occasional outward use of Christian doctrine, regardless of what its inner-party mythology may have been.

No, unfortunately Hitler was a Christian, even a Catholic and he considered himself a very exemplary Christian. Maybe that's why he did all those unthinkable atrocities.

You will find it in Mein Kampf: "Therefore, I am convinced that I am acting as the agent of our Creator. By fighting off the Jews, I am doing the Lord's Work."

Hitler was indeed a Christian, he was raised a Catholic. However he seemed to have no problem killing Polish Catholics along side Jews and other religions. Its important to remember that a person's religion is no guarentee if that person will be morally good.

Hitler wanted to return to pre-Christian Europe, where people worshipped rocks and trees. He saw the concept of morality and conscience as a Jewish conspiracy, which came into Europe via Christianity (an offshoot of Judaism).
He wished to go back to being a pre-Christian "free European" society where people could do whatever they wanted without the restraints of morality and conscience.

Shows how Christians who are anti-Jew are in their hearts anti-Christian.
