You need a graphics card with a composite or RGB output in addition the normal monitor output.
They are not expensive.
you can then get a suitable lead from your local electronics store to connect the uotput of the card to either the composite input ( yellow socket ) on your TV or into the scart socket via a simply adapter, again available from the electroinics shop.
But the results on your TV are never very good at all :(
I have tried lots of methods and the picture is always poor.
Better to get a modern TV that has a proper 15 pin "VGA" socket that goes to a normal monitor ouput on the PC.

Make sure you have a Video card and get the appropriate cable, most normally being a S-Video or RF (the yellow, white, red connectors).

Your computer must have a video card that will let you do this. you could use the yellow analouge lead (Like you use for a ps2) and connect it this way. Or you could by a device which does this.
