Body language is the most universal language. Babies at several weeks old can understand smiles, frowns, etc. from their parents.
Within verbal language, tone and tempo make up the majority of communication. The actual words used in communication accounts for less than 20%.

inspite of vaious languages we speak to communicate among each other, the expressions for emotions are the same throughout the globe. if a chinese man crys an englishman can understand and the vice versa.
however people can cry or laugh when nobody is around so these expressions of emotions cannot be considered as a language or a communication tool
inspite of the above arguement i still would favour LOVE as the most common and most communicated language eventhough it is an expression of emotion because we cannot do it on ur own.
