how come they only say negative things about Virgo?

I'ma female virgo and every astrology book I read always has negative comments about me....is virgo that bad?

Absolutely not!!!

Virgo, a Mutable Earth sign, is ruled by Mercury, the planet of travel and communication. As such, Virgos have an analytical, agile, discriminating mind and are adept communicators. One of the biggest mistakes that people make is assuming that their Sun Sign is the end all, be all of their personality.

Try going to a free site such as Astro.com and generating a free chart to determine your other aspects. For example, your Sun may be in Virgo, but your ascendantin Sagitarrius and your Moon in Leo. This would make you a practical, down to earth who is also a very firey, passionate and sexy person due to the fire in Sagittarius and Aries.

When astrologers want to do a quick and dirty analysis they always look at the least at the Sun, Moon and Ascendant. The Sun sign alone is never enough to tell us all we need to know.

All signs have negative and positive connotations. Virgo is not a bad sign. I think you are just getting stuck on the bad characteristics and are forgetting what you read about the good stuff. Like I said all signs have bad and good characteristics. With the knowledge of this it is up to use to consciously make an effort to overcome the bad aspects.

If you thinks Virgo's are bad, you should read about Leo's and Scorpios.

Because most Virgo's are self centered. They take from everyone and give nothing in return!!!! I have never meet a Virgo that real is a truly loyal unless they are a female Virgo. Male Virgo's are cheaters!!!! Watch out because the girl Virgo's always have their hands in your pockets!!!!

Depends who "they" are. Virgos get on my nerves sometimes, but there's nothing decided negative about them. They're just perfectionist neat freaks and think they're always right. Not always a bad thing. My astrologer is Virgo, so I know that when he says something, he's thought about it, researched it, and it's probably absolutely right.

Because Virgos are so darn GOOD, we don't want the other signs getting green with envy. We are sweet, supa attractive, Extremely intelligent, and strive for (and sometimes achieve) near perfection. Other signs are critical of US because we are particular, that is all. Nothing wrong with knowing what you want and going after it. I am Virgo and so is my husband and he is PERFECT *starry eyed* and a to-die-for companion, life-long friend and romantic as heck!
