shopping, and island are famous in Malaysia. since i was born and bread in Malaysia. there are loads of places back home. it also depends what kinda activity u are up for. if u are interested in shopping u can fly to Singapore. but if u rather have a chill afternoon and relaxing under the sun. then u would wanna visit pangkor island it a small fishing village and very remote. there is also penang island. famous for food, beaches and also shopping. unless u want to head to Kuala Lumpur(city full of varities of places to shop). pick a spot from Malaysia or u can e mail at landslyde1782@yahoo.com or u can try the link. they are a lot of island around malaysia remain undiscovered.

try Cameron Highlands. It is quite and lovely to stay. it has a tea plant. better u fly to Penang island

This is a hard question. It depends on what you want to see. If you wanna relax, and have tons of cash to spare, try some of the spa hotel in Langkawi or Peneng.

If you love beach, off monsoon, the Eastern side will be nice. Like Kuantan, Tregganu Mersing. Plenty of good rate hotels. You have also hope to many islands there. Mersing (in Johore) have many boat services to the islands, even to some of the island on Pahang side.

During monsoon, you may go the the west coast of West Malaysia, like Pankor, Penang, Port Dickson etc.

If you love shopping, KL have plenty of 5 stars hotel for you to choose.

In between, there are also plenty of resort, like hill resort for the cooling enviroment in Cameron, Faser Hill, Genting (Casino) etc.

There are also some eco-tour in the jungle, like Taman Negara, Cameron, Tasik Kenya, Tasik Chini, Endau-Rompin etc. Where you can watch the wild animal, and be near to the jungle people.

If you like diving, try the island in the east coast of West Malaysia, or some of the island in the East Malaysia are world stand. Like Sipadan etc.

Plenty. It depends on your choice.

depends on what kind of activities are you looking for? Shopping? must stay central of capital, KL. Going for a leisure beach seashore holiday or mountain side? or quiet area to step away from all the crowds? or...????? place to eat? place for fun? for gambling? etc..... (different activities different places to go for a stay so you dont have to travel far to reach what you want... be specific in asking).
