You can find exchange offices, marked "KANTOR", in all major towns and cities all over the country where you can exchange your Euros for Polish Zlotys; in many major tourist resorts, you may well be able to pay directly in Euro - mind the exchange rate, though! If you need more information about current exchange rates, take a look either at your local newspaper, or look up one of the major Polish newspapers online (www.gazeta.pl) and look out for the word "waluta" (currency), there, you'll find the latest rates.
The weather in August is usually quite warm and calm, with temperatures in the higher twenties centigrade / upper seventies Fahrenheit, there may be some showers or even longer-lasting periods of rain, depending on your luck! Depending on what you're interested in, there's always something to see, though! If you have any more questions about specific areas in Poland, please let me know - I don't speak too much Polish myself, but have been living in this country (near Poznan) for over five years now, and I may know one or the other website to help you find answers to your questions.
WELCOME TO POLAND! Greetings from Poznan!

No, you cannot use Euro in Poland. Maybe parts of Poland will let you pay with it but it could be very rare in some cases. You would have to change your money in to Zloty. The weather in Poland in August is very nice its very warm and the air is nice, also make sure you bring a sweatshirt it tends to get cold sometimes at night..thats the reason some people do not have A/C in Poland. I hope you have a nice trip from what I see in your question you must be going =] have fun

Well, in some of the megastores (one of them is "-,real") you can pay in Euro, but you will receive change in Zlotys, local currency.

In August it is very warm, but be prepared and take a waterproof jacket with you - there could be a rain as well.
