no you could not! You had 1/2 of it taken out because you were hyperacter, it is hyperthyroidism! If you were hypo you would be given medicine only.

Sure, my best friend would go from one to the other. I believe she was more hyper than hypo, but she went back and forth until the Doc used radiation and killed her thyroid, now she is on pills for the rest of her life. It took awhile to get the dosage right, but now she is fine.

Its not possible. Why in the hell would ANY DOCTOR leave half your thyroid in. They make medications to control this problem take what ever you doctor gave you and QUIT SECOND GUESSING HIS DIAGNOSES.
