Buy a camper and just go!
Oh wait, that's not good for nature.
Ok, put on your hiking shoes, get your backpack and a tent and go.

It is possible but would cost a fortune you must buy a property that cannot be reached by road and is considered derelict , plant and wait 12 months for vegetables to grow , buy animals fit to breed giving you a constant supply of milk & meat , poultry for eggs & meat , and a library of how to (butcher , cook , medicine , farming , vetinary , etc) books the size of London .

If you can't afford this and feel you want a less complicated way of life I suggest you look into grape picking and following the seasons throughout europe .

buy a big hiking backpack, sleeping bag and tent... they sell a comnination of the three... I think it is either North Face or Kelty... it is really lightweight. Do odd jobs to make money and just travel and roam the country... or get a passport and do this in another country for 6 months. take a journal and write about your travels and experiences and when you get back, make it into a book and sell it! then you will be rollin' in the dough and you can do it all over again.

Humans are social animals, we survive through mutual aid. I would suggest that you didn't remove yourself entirely from society, you would just end up dead and nobody would even know, but you could loosen your dependence on government, corporations etc. buy growing and preparing your own food, making and repairing your own clothing, cutting down on your fuel consumption and maybe thinking of ways of generation your own energy, recycling useful material directly and not via the growing recycling industry...
