Maybe you have already formed some conculsions about the thought that this guy is not for you?

Love is a attitude not a feeling. Love covers and heals fear. If he has genuine love for you (or anyone else) then his "commitment phobia" is no problem.

I would have thought that being in a gang took some commitment?

Ask yourself, "what do I need" and seek to find it. I think you deserve better.

i think he has more then a commitment phobia. he doesnt sound as though he wants to meet up with you at all and he is just making excuses. i know you have been together a long time and he should know you well enough by now. i would give him a big miss and move on. if he doesnt want to listen to what you say and insists on making excuses then he has other ideas in mind.
