I used to weigh 200lbs. Today I weigh 150lbs. I have a lot of experience with diets and have read many books. I have talked with many doctors and physical trainers. This information comes straight from them.
If you do not eat breakfast then you will of course be saving calories. But you have to understand metabolism to understand how your body burns calories. People with a naturally fast metabolism burn for example 6000 calories a day. And slow maybe only 2000 a day.
This is the important part. Your bodies metabolism increases in the day and slows down at night when you sleep. If you skip breakfast your metabolism will SLOW DOWN. This is bad. When you eat breakfast your metabolism is jumpstarted! You will burn more calories that day.
The answer is simple. You should eat 6 small meals a day. Breakfast should be the biggest.

Have breakfast. It gets you off to a good start of your day since your body's basically been fasting overnight while you're sleeping. You'll then have the energy you need to make it through the day & not overeat when you're famished later on. You might also try eating 5-6 small meals a day so that your blood sugar doesn't drop too low at any point & you just go crazy & eat everything in sight.

Burning calories through the day needs the energy to do so. How will you get energy if you don't have breakfast? So, YES, getting breakfast is better BUT that doesn't mean that you should eat a whole breakfast open buffet (lol) to get more energy.

hey, hold on !! just 2 lose some weight u cant stay hungry; rather that will lead u to attack food after ur "hunger stay". Best Idea is to have wholesome food in small portions spread throughout the day. Hv a healthy breakfast as ur body is hungry while in sleeping and it comes to more than 8 hrs of hunger already!!!!

If you want to lose weight in a healthy way, it's best to go with a low fat/calorie breakfast. However, if you're wanting to starve and crash diet, then I guess skipping will work. What your friend said is not true. When you don't eat, your metabolism slows down making it harder to burn calories and lose weight. Plus if you don't eat, you will not have the energy to exercise.

Yes eat breakfast. If you dont, you wont have eaten for at least 15 hours, causing you to binge later on in the day. Even if you only eat like a yogurt or even an apple for breakfast, thats good too.

You should always eat a healthy breakfast. A breakfast will kickstart your metabolism, which helps you to lose weight. Also, if you don't eat breakfast you are more likely to over eat at other meals which would actually make you gain weight.

having breakfast helps you lose weight better because if you dont eat breakfast your body will think your not going to feed it and it will store more of the fat when you actually do eat rather than being able to burn it off. also eating a good breakfast will boost your metabolism and allow you to have more energy to burn off calories and fat

I don't believe breakfast has anything to do with burning calories. Eating breakfast will help you not eat so much during the day. It will also help keep you from snacking. But to be honest, I dont eat breakfast.

You need to eat breakfast and more numbers of meal with small portions.if u want to lose weight u should walk about 1 hour or more in each day too.
