Even if they have lost the semi-final against Italy, Germany have made a great world cup. They've produced good some good play with many goals. I hope they will win the "little final".

Klinsmann has built a young and promising team emphasizing discipline and superb fitness - Germany needed a good showing because it's homeground. But WC football needs more than that - finesse, skill like the Italians have aplenty - both sorely lacking in the Germans.

I think they played extremely well through most of the tournament, but that their defense is suspect when they play the top teams.
