Life is not worth without friends!
Mighty Achilles knew that if would try to get revenge for the killing of his friend, he would then die! Dilemma! But he chose to take revenge and he was thus assassinated! Thus, he died for his values and friendship!
In our case, instead of death we can select life and give life and meaning to our friend and ourselves!

No... if he is a friend he will not allow that to you. Have you consider that you have a mother who loves you, care for you, will not even let a flee hurt you. A mother will pick you up... even if you are a worthless rags. There is no limit to a mothers' sacrifice. A friend ... might just be there to help most of the time to a certain extent. You reach that limit... bye bye and adi yos mu cha chos.

A real friend wouldn't ask you to die for them. Now family?? Or wife/child?? Different all together.

Jesus sacrificed Himself for the salvation of mankind. Yes, some of us have done just that. Whether you an I can do this remains to be seen, no one can predict what one will do, until the situation presents itself. Talk is cheap.

I suppose so. It's all about what you think you should do. I personally think I would die for my friends, because they are so dear to my heart. Other people have other perspectives about this. It also depends on what your dying for. But, at the end, it is all up to you on what you think.

if you are really dedicated to you're friend(s) then if the situation calls for it and you decide to take the place at death's door step for you're friend, whatever the situation is, then yes i see it as you could possibly die for a friend.

You can always die...that's your choice.... a better choice is "to live for your friend". Being gone ends the friendship and friendship is about sharing...so share the friendship with respect and caring...

If the bond between us is so strong, I probably wouldn't mind giving up my life for my friend anyday. I won't even regret it. That, of course, is if the bond is strong though.
