He thinks he acts like a baby if he cries. One time he had some pains and I told him to take some meds, and his response was something like, "Only women take medicine, guys don't." Can anyone help?

its not a massive problem, guys are raised completley differently to women and the hardest thing for him to do would be act like less of a man - its a pride thing
kick him in the balls and he will cry, film him crying and play it back to him every day

It is babyish to cry. I know that I am not the norm, here. Unless it is for a funeral or something like that, I am a strong believer in not crying. If I can't hold back the tears until I am in a private spot, it makes me angry with myself for being weak. There is a time and place for tears and it is not in front of other people.

All guys like to play it cool and macho,we have to make trick them.i set our meds on the bathroom counter,that way if my macho husband is in pain he can go to the bathroom take them and no one knows,as for crying guess thats something they are taught as children.Good luck God bless:O)

What a load of macho bull$hit! it's not unusual for men to feel that way. I say...let him suffer if he just can't take a pill. Believe me, when it comes to some real serious pain, he WILL medicate himself. He just hasn't hit that level yet.

There's not much you can do to force a person to feel a certain way, if he has grown up thinking this it will take a lot for him to think otherwise, but you could tell him he can freely express his emotions around you.

well boys r boys.. full of pride anger and all . i think its better to leave him alone as far as this thing is concerned. Dont try to teach him or he will shout at u. And if incase he cries infront of u at any time in any situation be very supportive . boys!!!! god save us from these guys!!!!!!!

boys from within are like little scared kittens. though in front of he shows that he is cool and only baby's cry but from within even he can cry in childish manner. there is no need to prove anything and he will understand it himself

hey hes like me the only time i cry is when my family dies my mom always toght me if i cry ill get something to cry about so i think its the same with all guys

just show that showing his emotions doesn't make him less of a man and that you'd respect him more for sharing his feelings with you rather than locking them all up! in my opinion, letting out your feelings and not keeping it locked up makes you a stronger person.. good luck xx
