I've had similiar problems. Click Start, click on Help & Support. Look under Additional Resources and click on System Restore. This will ask you 3 questions: Hit on "Restore my computer to an earlier Time", click on NEXT. Select a date just previous to when your problem occured. Your system will restore itself and correct any problems.

If you got an anti-virus program turn off your computer then turn it back on,, then press and hold F8 and hold it till it shows a dafe menu select safe mode only and then when it saids safe mode in the corners run your anti-virus program and delete anything it fines

if not then get on the internet and go to www.netscape.com and download a program called spyware doctor and I would really like you to buy the full version not because I am trying to be sneekie No that is not me. I have this program and I got it the same way I told you I paid $19.95 and got it over the internet (the full version and the key code too this program will do the trick for you and a lot more for you it removes all spy ware and removes any and all nasties found in your computer or comming into your computer.

Run your anti-virus,then look in the same location a unknown or unfamiliar( exe/dat) and same name zip folder. like (aaa.exe/aaa.dat&aaa.zipFolder). rightClick virusScan it. everytime the virus is remove the dat.exe will reopen the zip folder and plant the virus again and again and again.since your here use yahoo toolbar and run the anti-spyware it detect spyware/adware/hijacker/some virusand use their pop-up blocker. so it can not download the virus ,if you need it see a pop-up just disable it for the site your on then reactive it. when leaving the site and surf the web.

Malware is not something you want.
If you have anti-virus software run it.
If not yes go to http://www.symantec.com/
and scan your computer for virus's but that might no be enough
Malware can hide itself in your browser. You also need to check for spy-ware. I recommend ad-aware se I have used it myself for many years and it is free for non-commercial use. You can get it at http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/
I try to run ad-aware monthly to keep my pc running fast.
