Unfortunately, Israel, which is supposed to be a democracy, does not follow it's own laws. Amnesty International reports that Israel has the worst Human Rights Record of any country in the Western Hempishere. Check out www.telrumeidaproject.org daily reports for examples of these violations. Soon after U.S. govt. withheld foreign aid to S. Africa apartheid was eliminated. I pray our govt. wakes up soon regarding how our foreign aid to Israel is hurting not only Israel, and Palestinians but the U.S. as well.

The Zionist lobby in the US is very rich. Also, there ara a lot of Israel-supporters within the Government. It is very hard to get elected to office without their support. Ask Hillary Clinton who had to give back a campaign contribution from an American Moslem group in order to get bigger money from Jewish organizations. She also had to make a televised statement that she supports the "survival of Israel" Now she is in the senate and a possible candidate for the presidency.
My guess is that a lot of candidates cave to the pressure.

Hello,
We give Isreal between 1.5 and 3.2 Billion dollars every single year.I guess it's because they are the only democracy in that area.And i'm sure that an aweful lot of that paper goes towards their military for their survival...
I do know that i could use a few of those dollars for my survival...

defending it self, against sustained terrorism,
from The many Hostile Arab countries,
infiltrating their borders , and killing citizens indiscriminately.

It is because Isreal is one of our allies in the Middle East and one of the only democracys in the middle east. They are our "friends" so we help support them because they are poor.
