Someday, but I wouldn't look for it in our lifetime. The sun is only supposed to be a middle-aged star, and when it dies, it will expand first, consuming the interior planets and overheating the Earth. But the Earth is 4.5 billion years old now, so if it's only middle aged, we've got some time on that front. There are Earth orbit-crossing asteroids, but the last one to do major damage wiped out the dinosaurs, so the odds are that it will happen again, but I wouldn't worry about that happening anytime soon, either. What could we do even if it did? The problem I would worry the most about is the fools who have their fingers on "the button," constantly threatening to blow the whole planet up.

Yes, but not that soon I hope. In 5 billion years the sun will die out and the world will end.

No,because the world end if the biggest comet will hit the earth.Or if the sun explode like a supernovae. The supernovae known that it was the dead star that will start to explode

YES ! it is possible that the world may end someday (doomsday) ,there are many possibilities by which we can predict the end of life on planet or anhilation of planet itself.
1. the chances of big asteroid hitting earth are not remote, this will wipe out the animal life on this planet
2. melting of arctic and antarctic ice may cause flooding land mass and may cause the extinction of some of life forms ,(or all)
this is possible by rise in temperature - because of green house effect or meteor or asteroid falling into oceans will actually displace similar volume of water which will cause flooding .
3. Sun enlarges enoromously and becomes a "red gaint" which leads to anhilation of life forms on near by planets because of massive rise in temperature on the surface of these planets . The sun grows in size to maximum extent and a stage comes when it no longer grows in size at this stage it explodes destroying the nearby planets(end of the world) and becomes a "white dwarf"
4. pandamic contageous diseases and pestelences may contribute to end of life on this planet. May be newer diseases which will spread fast and fatal- this type of diseases may lead tto massive destruction and extinction of some life forms
5. The fact which we should not over look is inter galaxtic war by Extraterrestrials or ALiens in future
6. MASS anhilation by nuclear power within planet itself.
7 and ofcourse" APOCALYPSE by " FOUR HORSE MEN " -
CHRISTIAN BELIEF.
8. There will a drought for twelve years followed by twelve years of incessant rains which leads to end of world-HINDHU BELIEF

100% yes. our sun is at the middle stage of the star cycle. in about 4-5 billion years, the sun will start to expand into a red supergiant and comsume the inner planets, including our planet.

Inevitably. We have no way to know when exactly, but anyone knows that it will end at one point in time. Although it may not be in our lifetime, or in our kid's life, or in our grandkid's lives, or even our great grandkid's.

And remember, (-.-) he is watching....
