Then you are violating the terms of service of ebay and the bidding process. Now, if the seller did not disclose that shipping would be $15 in the listing then thats a different story, but if it shows in the listing that its $15, then you are liable for paying the winning bid price and shippinig costs. Check the listing again. If it isn't listed get a hold of ebay and tell them what has happened.

Hello,Please check out the June 2006 Ebay Policy on Excessive shipping charges at the html that I have enclosed for you.And please report your problem to Ebay. Ebay may not do anything but redirect you back to your seller but at least you can give this a try. If you have some positive feedback on Ebay, perhaps you can take one negative or two. If you get a negative, you can give one too.No big deal. I think the seller would rather have you give her some money than none at all.Make a deal or not.It isn't the end of the world. You probably need to get to Ebay customer services just to let them know your concern.Perhaps other people have complained about the same seller. In the end, be sure to read everything in the next item you bid on in Ebay.

As eBay says, "A bid or Buy It Now purchase on eBay is considered a contract and you are obligated to purchase the item." You should have looked at the shipping before you bid. A lot of unscrupulous people do this (cheap price, high shipping), so it's good to always check (especially when the bidding starts at 1 cent). You can try to negotiate the shipping with the seller or work with him/her if you really do not want it due to the shipping. Good luck!

When you agree to buy something off of ebay, you are putting yourself in a contract with the seller. But, if for some reason you decide you do not want to pay for the item, you can:
1. contact the seller and explain that you do not want the item any longer and apologize for the inconvenience
2. the seller can then retract your bid from this item - but it is solely up to the seller if they want to do this or not. If they do you are in the clear. if they do not want to retract your bid - then you are legally bound to buy the item. If you do not pay, the seller can turn you in to ebay and your account will be disabled forever.

Next time, why don't you read what the cost is for shipping before you buy an item>?????!!!!!!

They can ban you. If you don't pay for an item, then you will get negitve feedback. If your negitive feedback is about paying, no one will sell to you.

The shipping charges depend on how it will be sent. Ebay sellers use the mail, Fedex, and UPS. If the seller lives close to you, they MIGHT be willing to meet with you and forgo the shipping.

One thing you have to watch when bidding IS the shipping. Sometimes, your item is not a bargian because of the shipping.

Hope this helps.

The seller can file an Unpaid Item Dispute on you and if you don't pay, you will get a strike. If you too many strikes, you'll be kicked off Ebay. You're supposed to read the whole listing before you bid. Your bid is a legally binding agreement. If you thought $15 was too much shipping, you shouldn't have bid. You need to pay the seller because they had to pay to list the item and they had to pay final value fees for the item. That's bad character to not pay.

your amazing selection is to easily pay for it - an eBay bid is a legally binding contract & the corporation might want to take you to courtroom for not in straightforward words the price of the article (what you presently owe) yet "damages" as well it really is an somewhat vast time period legally conversing. attempt emailing the corporation, they do be able to cancel your bid & bypass with the subsequent one less than you, even if it really is at their descression. if you're one hundred% constructive that the outline replaced into replaced when you placed your bid, you could contact eBay Dispute decision (verify the eBay help pages) - yet in case you're trying this & are incorrect (keep in options each and every thing is logged, dated & timestamped) then you will be in probability of pay AND finally end up with detrimental comments AND be flagged as a Non-Paying Bidder. Your attractiveness is each and every thing on eBay & in case you recommend on paying for and/or promoting there contained in the destiny then I strongly advise merely procuring what you legally baught. I, myself, received't purchase from those which have detrimental comments & immediatly cancel any bids from everyone flagged as Non-Paying.

You agreed to buy the item.

The fact that you did not read the terms is your fault.

You can try to bargain with the person to see if they will reduce their shipping cost, but you agreed and you are liable.

Pay up and read the entire auction information next time.

Hopefully, they hunt you down and hurt you. You should have checked this stuff out before you bid and if you won the item and don't like the cost...tough sh*t.
