Static routing needs to be configured manually for all the networks.. where as in dynamic routing the routes will be discovered automatically by the router. Also the routes are updated frequently in the dynamic routing

Your internet service provider might be providing you with a static IP.... this is not likely.

Dynamic routing means that your IP address is assigned to you automatically. This is the normal method used by most DSL and cable highspeed services. In this case, you plug it in and IT WORKS without programming in an IP address.
