I'd have to agree with you.. and I'm a woman!! Yes, sometimes even I don't know what I want, but at least I know when I don't know what I want and am willing to tell my husband....
Have you ever heard the story about Sir Gwain (maybe it was Galahad...)? He was one of King Arthur's knights. He was sent on a quest to figure out what women wanted. He went all over, asking every woman he met, and got almost that many different answers. Finally he asked this old and super-ugly woman. She told him that if he promised to marry her, she'd give him the answer. He reluctantly agrees, she gives him the answer- "Every woman wants her own way."
Come to find out, this ugly old woman isn't so ugly or old. She was cursed that when she married she could be beautiful, but only 1/2 the time- either at night or in the day.
She asks the knight to pick, but when he says beautiful by day, she says that she will be ugly at night, and he won't love her. When he says, "well, then, beautiful by night," she says that he will resent her b/c of what the other knights will think of her.
Finally, he tells her that he will agree to whatever she wants- letting her have it her way... and giving her what every woman wants. This breaks the curse on her and she is beautiful day and night... yeah, happily ever after... At least that's the story.
