No to both. The reason? No evidence for either one. When you ask some people a question like this, they'll tell you yes, based on a "feeling", or a bizarre experience, but NEVER good, solid EVIDENCE to back it up.

Read "daveswife"'s answer, and that will tell you all you need to know about the people who actually believe in this crap. I just had to laugh--on her breaks, she thinks of doing something "productive", such as "aiming a sword and yelling attack" !! And she names her source as "reliable"?? I nearly fell out of my chair laughing!! Thank you "daveswife" for the unexpected entertainment!!

As someone who has lived at least two former lives I have no choice in believing in reincarnation.
I have researched my last life and found my grave in Anzio Italy. I was 18 in WW2. I remember being shot between the eyes. I remember a lot of details that were proven right. I won't bother with the whole story because you don't believe me anyway.
I can tell the difference between imagination and memories. The other life memory is faded with time. But was in midieval times. I might have had others in between that I don't remember. Otherwise where was my soul all those years? Living boring meaingless lives?
I don't believe in fate. We control our own destiny.

I believe that we make our own fate however, I think THE HIGHER POWER can anticipate evey choice we make and has always known everything would do so in a way it has all been decided by our iminent choices. So I believe in Faith.
I like to think that when I'll die I will just be born again bec this way we have more chance to becme someone importnt and because I think I would prefe living as a human again not going to that Joyfull place where we'll have free milk and honey.

Yes, if everything, living or non-living int he world is being naturally recycled, same is the case of human being. The souls are re-cycled from one birth to another.

If you can find, I highly recommend to read a book 'Many lives, many masters' by Brain Weiss, will answer all your questions about life, fate & past lives.

Sometimes I believe I was a very powerful man in my last life. I was brought back as a house wife. I perform wonderfully in my everyday tasks, but on my breaks I would like to do something more productive like aim a sword at someone and yell attack. Weird.

Fate - No
Because you deciede how you are going to live your life and what will happen to you. You can be free - or sucker who will pass his life sitting in a chair.
Past lives - No.
But i do believe in good.
