I am a student of Nonduality,Oneness (ADWAITA) in Hindu Culture, I just wanted to share peoples views and thoughts over the topic. The basic thing is, The Super Natural Power (GOD) is unlimited, ie. Practically only one unlimited is possible. we all are ONE including God.

All i can comment on is that I have read Plotinus and believe GOD is the ONE and we are one (lower case) - God allows us to be who we are - ths he is infinite and we are only complete with him. When we reach our soul in whatever fashion and can somehow get to that level of the ONE then we are equal

I just had this very discussion with a christian friend of mine. He just could not see that 'God' cannot be all knowing if we (humans) are a separate phenomenon from 'God'. In the end I had to spell it out in very simple terms, which I think he finally understood. Did you ever read the Yoga Vasistha?

you answered your own question. Do you realize that you believe that being ONE in entity with God, is just like being ONE as a community, as a group with common goals, "united" in more simpler terms. We are like the different parts of the body. One person, different jobs, different functions, different systems. God is the "soul" that gives life to flesh. We know that because we return to ashes. What is more beautiful than that?

I would say we are nothing without G-d, not the other way around. To place us on the same level as G-d is quite the act of hubris. G-d is one, with or without us, we are not on the same scale

well god is god, he created us, he destroys us.........
with or without humans or as a fact any other being in the universe, god will be god........

why should one question this?
we certainly cannot associate us(humans) with god in that manner.......
