We do new work for MPhil and PhD which is not done yet. Then why we called it "Re Search Work"?

Research is the "... critical and exhaustive investigation or experimentation having for its aim the revision of accepted conclusions, in light of newly discovered facts." (Webster) It is difficult to move forward without looking back at what others have accomplished. To prove a novel point it is necessary to know whether others have made the same point before and how the new point differs with past concepts. Research means to search again where others have searched before.

I think it's because the first thing that is done when one has a problem is think about it, in other words search the brain. Sadly, that generally has little effect on the problem (in my case) so I must "re"-search in different places.

RESEARCH MEAN U HAVE TO START FROM BEGINS U CAN TAKE OLD TOPIC BUT IN DIFFERENT WAY THAT WHY ITS CALLED RESEARCH WORK AND SEARCH IS THE OLD WORD THAT U R TRYING TO FIND AND RESEARCH IS TRY TO MAKE SOME THING THAT I S USED BY SOME ONE ONE DAY

Research means......Search something new...........which is not discovered yet...
