i was 5 weeks pregnant when i spotted, (no pains) it was not much, but my husband out of fear of loosing the baby, took me to a tradtional man (a neigbour told him about it), he checked me and said "the baby is there" i taught its over, i can now go home, but he told me to open my legs so he could put some leaf to stop the spoting, i refused but my neigbour insisted i allow him do his job. and so he pushed the ball-shaped-squeezed leaf inside of me (forcefully), and he told me to remove it after some hours which i did. a week later i had a serious one with pains, when we went back, he said the baby is there, after one wk i started having serious pains in my abdomen, my husb out of fear that i was going to die called a nurse in my area, she came with 2tablets, and an injection which she gave me (i was becoming unconsious) immediately she gave me the inject, sumtin fell on the ground, i was later daigonised of ectopic pregnacy. this is 8 months after the surgry, was that really ectopic?

sweetie, i am an emergency medical tech. and i have never heard of such a thing as this, and ectopic pregnancy is a medical emergency! it means your baby was in your tube and not the uterus. this can be a life threatening, some women may need surgery to remove the damaged tube. your body must have gone into shock, now i have no idea what this man did to you, and i am so very sorry, is this something common where you live? because in america you must have a license to pratice med. please never trust anyone with you or a babys health that is not a medical dr. good luck and GOD BLESS.

Whoa, I felt like I was watching Angle Heart or Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil for a minute there. I would definately say that some freaky things went on with you. You should get into a regular good old fashioned OB/GYN very, very soon.

I'm trying to figure out if you had a D/C or not. If not, I'm wondering what happened to the tube that the baby was supposted to be planted in, that is what etopic means...did anyone operate or clean you out? When you say something fell on the ground, was it a clot of blood?

I'm thinking that you are going to get some very interesting answers to this question, the problem is nobody but a doc can tell you if you are still okay to have a baby. I dont' think anyone will ever be able to tell you exactly what happened during this pregnancy though. If you didn't take what fell on the ground into the lab for tests, there is no way of knowing what happened.

The only thing I can say for sure is you should stay away from herbs and whatnot when pregnant, they tend to do more harm than good.
