What is the p8 connector in ATX motherboard that is coming from power supply for? Its 3 pin female connector with only two wires that plugs in the motherboard. Is it soft switch or something else? Thanks

I checked it really is 3 pin female with only two wires, one brown and the other is black and its labeled p8. What is the four pin connector that you are talking about for?

I found out it was a fan control connector because its SEC processor and it uses the fan in the power supply it regulates the speed of the fan through that 3 pin 2 wire connector that is plugged in the motherboard, thanks for the help.

it must be 4 pin connector b cos there is no connector coming from power supply which contain 3 pin or two wire
