I have had unprotected intercourse now for a year. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant but gave up. I am always regular with my periods. I am now 3 days late and I feel nausea. I am tired all the time, but I cant seem to fall asleep at night. I took a home pregnancy test but I it came out negative. I will go to the doctors, but since I dont have insurance, I dont want to make the trip for nothing. My breasts also seem to be changing. There are more bumps around the nipples than before. Does anyone know the first signs of pregnancy?

"Top 10 Signs You're Pregnant" (you may or may not get some or all of these)
1. Food cravings
2. Darkening of your areolas
3. Implantation bleeding or cramping
4. Frequent urination
5. Fatigue
6. Tender, swollen breasts
7. Morning sickness
8. Your basal body temperature stays high
9. A missed period
10. A positive home pregnancy test

The following website has more details on all of these. Before I knew I was pregnant for sure, I was going to the bathroom a lot - like 3 times at night, had morning sickness and was nauseous at the smell of basil (go figure). Good luck, and I hope you get health insurance - if you are pregnant it will cost a lot of money without it!

The first signs of pregnancy are ususally minimal for just days after you are late for your first period.

Breast soreness and tenderness to the touch is usally a symptom that early and can make you suspecious to actually being pregnant.

Bumps around the nipple area may happen but usually will happen later in the pregnancy once you begin producing milk for the babe.

The slight nausea is a good sign as well, but I did not experience that within days after being late. Exhaustion from your body changing is a good sign as well.

If the home preganancy test came back negative, I would buy another one, wait a few days and take it again, although they are fairly accurate when detecting the chemical to show pregnancy, it could be a faulty or defective pregnancy test.

hi there, you have some signs of been pregnant, my advice would to do another test, you can get a false negative test but you cant get a false positive test, if you are still uncertain see your G.P. good luck and keep those stress levels to a minimum. Keep having fun in the bedroom dont focus in on getting pregnant all the time enjoyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

Yeah, wait another 7 days and take another pregnancy test. Wishful thinking will usually cause you to feel all the symptoms also. Good luck
