You can better your grades, and still be considered a popular, cool kid. Being smart is cool. Think of it this way: You study ahead in your textbooks, and anything you don't understand, you ask your teachers or search the internet for the answers or explanations. You will stay ahead of your peers, make straight A's, and your peers and teachers will respect you for it. They all now know your name in a good way. You are now an individual that stands apart from the crowd. Get a steady clip going in that direction, and then add some activities into the mix, that is you. More people now know and respect you for it.
You will then be a popular, cool kid.

Paying more attention in class and getting your homework done will help your grades. Cool is tough because you are relying on others perceptions of you. Do the things that make you the best person to other people and the coolness will show through to those people.

ummmm... like the good grades part is good. its great that you want to make decent grades at school. :) but as far as the popular cool kids thing... just be yourself. at my school people call me a prep and a popular chick and all that stuff. really, and truly its not that important. oh, and just by you asking how to be is not cool itself.

good grades do not make you widespread. good grades do not inevitably make you a geek both (even though it doesn't damage). the element is, little ones who get good grades have a tendency to truly have a geeky behaviour. that's possible to be a immediately A pupil and be widespread. you is also failing each and every classification and be a geek.
