Having come home 3 times with new-borns, I'd suggest the following...
Try to put off as many folk as you can for tomorrow, at least. Make it your special time - just for the three of you - you will remember that forever -honest! Have a loaded camera or a digital camera with plenty of batteries.
Have some food in that your wife enjoys, some treats too. She will be really tired, spoil her as best you can, but obviously don't go over the top.
Put up as many pink balloons as possible around front door and hallway. Perhaps a wee banner 'It's a girl' or something similar.
It's a true cause for celebration - enjoy!
Many congratulations to you and your wife!!!
;-)

I have just checked this question again - curious to see if the party went ahead or not.
I have found myself checking out your previous questions too. It was a bit like a soap opera with further amazing instalments! You and your wife sound like truly amazing people. I wish you all the success in the world as you bring up your two girls. I have two girls and feel blessed.
I hope the Aubrey's jaundice has already cleared up - if not, I'm sure it will soon.
Good luck to all four of you ;-)

Wait a few days, let your wife and baby get settled into being at home. It can be a very strange transition coming home and suddenly finding yourself truly in charge of this little life. She's probably very tired and sore as well. And talk to your wife about it, see what she's up for. No matter what your intentions a big surprise party could be devastating to her right now.

Yes. Delivering a baby is the most stressful and tiring thing a woman will do. I say love on her lots(mom) and tell her you are so proud of her, but wait about a week or so before you throw a party. Enjoy the baby bliss a little first. It would be a great time for you to bond with the baby while mom recooperates.

Congratulations!

Why not have a little party with just the three of you? When I had my babies, I was so relieved just to be out of hospital that I wanted to dance for joy but (apart from the grandparents and aunties) I didn't want to see anyone. Ask your wife if she's up to it, otherwise, keep it intimate - after all, you'll never have those first precious few days again. Take time to get to know your baby. And congratulations to the three of you!

No please don't invite anyone round, it would be too overwhelming and she really needs rest, you need to be together with the baby for the first time, but you can decorate the house, clean it etc, make her a really good meal, put water by her bedside and let her sleep for the next 6 weeks. After that you can have a party.

With my kids I really liked coming home to some new bedding, can't explain it, but after all the trauma etc of being in hospital it feels really nice, she'll really appreciate it if you buy a nice bed set!

CONGRATULATIONS, I had my 4th child a few months ago. Support and rest is what your wife needs not a party. She will be ever so grateful for your help with house work and joining in the care of the baby,.... hands on. You need to wait on her a little and be thoughtful egg. taking over baby so she can get a kip, answering phone calls and protecting her from callers who may mean well but ARE a nuisance.

My advice give her a week or two to rest first then have your family and friends over.

I have 3 children and I know from my experiences that when you get home you just want to be able to relax and enjoy that time with your husband and child with no interference coming home to a bunch of people is the last thing on my mind.

I know your excited and want to world to know as a mother they want to rest and re coop. So give it a week or 2 like I said and then have the family over. Trust me your wife will thank you for it

I would wait to have a party, your wife needs to get a grip with having a new baby in the house, now that she is out of hospital she is on her OWN, (not including you obviously), leave it up to her to decide if and when she wants a party, when i came out of hospital with my daughter I just wanted to get home with her and my husband..... the three of us together.

A quick tip, if shes coming home tomorrow, be in bed by 8'o'clock tonight, and sleep all you can cause for the next 6 months, you ain't going to get any hahahaha.....

Congratulations on becoming the greatest person in the world from your baby's point of view.......

don't have a party as your wife is going to feel very tired. the best thing to do is get some flower (not from the local garage) and let your wife rest. look after your wife by doing all the house work and helping with the baby. congrates on the new baby.

ok, seriously, your wife will need the rest and your baby is no way ready for a party! take it easy for the next few weeks, spoil your wife, do more than your fair share around the house and with the baby, and just enjoy the time that you have with them! You wouldnt believe how quickly they grow up, so just relax and enjoy! Congratulations by the way!
