If you sport those charming creases on either side of your lips every time you crack a smile, you have one little gene (and your parents, of course) to thank.
Each physical trait you possess is represented by a pair of genes -- one each from mom and pop. This pair can either be a combination of two dominant genes, one dominant and one recessive gene, or two recessive genes.

All you need is one dominant gene to inherit a particular trait. Dimples, along with other traits such as freckles, a widow's peak, a cleft chin, and yes, even bushy eyebrows, are passed along by a single dominant gene. If you have dimples, you have the dominant trait (D-). If you don't, you have the recessive (dd). It's that simple.

In my opinion this is the best resource you can find online on how to get rid of cellulite http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=539

You CAN'T improve or enhance your leg, butt, hip, thigh or tummy areas with cellulite creams, lotions, wrap treatments, diet/fat burning pills, butt enhancement supplements or any other money wasting scam that sounds to good to be true. (I'm sure you have already wasted A LOT of money on some of these). Deceptive marketing and pharmaceutical companies take advantage of advertising loopholes that allow them to lie to you on the packaging and in their advertisements. They don't care about you at all. They just want your money, nothing else.

You have several hundred muscles in your leg, butt, hip, thigh and lower stomach area. The major problem is, not exercising these muscles correctly will make your trouble spots worse and more pronounced, while risking serious injury. However, the right exercises that use these muscles in harmony with each other can bring definite results without spending unrealistic amounts of time on ineffective exercises and risking long term set-backs. You don't need access to a gym because this type of approach doesn't require weights and machines.

A year ago I was an out of shape with my lower body was the worst, carrying an extra fat on my stomach. My thighs and butt are quite big. After joining a program which i accidentally found while surfing the web for my consultancy project, i have made the dramatic changes and i feel young, healthy and sexy again. Even my legs are much more slimmer then before. The point is, there's a much FASTER, BETTER and CHEAPER way to get fit and melt the body butter once and for all without gyms, weights or fancy shmancy expensive exercise equipment.

shut up. That's why! (Sorry I had to say that because I have huge dimples in my cheeks and also one in my chin which people are always on about!)

My mum told me people used to pinch my cheeks when I was a baby and so that's why my dimples are so big but I think bigger people have bigger dimples, it's a bit like cellulite in that sense(I know that's not a nice thought but I can't think of a better way to explain it!)

chin dimples are usually not cute... I'd say if anything go for the cheek ones. Why do a surgery for something like that? It could potentially harm you if you don't find a good doctor.

it is hereditary, if your mom or dad has dimples, chances are you will too My guess is it is a variation in the genepool that makes the muscle "dimple" and the skin and flesh just follows the surface of the muscles movement

Cellulite does not come from a single cause. It almost always comes from a combination of generic and hormonal factors. Some wrong behaviors, however, can cause or even worsen cellulite: a life that is too sedentary, altered blood circulation, incorrect diet with insufficient intake of fluids, smoking and alcoholic beverages, high heels and close-fitting garments. The plasma fluid, transudated from impaired and weakened capillaries, accumulates and stagnates in surface adipose tissue.
Cellulite can be reduced by a balanced diet and specific treatments https://tr.im/gYHzZ

I know this isn't biologically correct, but I heard it when I was younger and it made me smile (probably because I don't have dimples!)

I was told that dimples came from when your parents were ah herm...making love whilst your mum was still pregnant, and your dad...well... 'prodded' you.

dimples are a natural trait that is passed down from generation to generation! if your dad or mum has them, you are LIKELY to get it.
