I am not Christian.
For me, it is just a very well researched piece of fiction.
& frankly, I'd love it if someone did that amount of research in my religion.

Obviously, a lot of the specific details in the story can not be corroborated, and some can be show to be false. More important, though is the approach to religion taken by the story: the bible is examined in its historical context, holes in the narrative are acknowledged, and motives are examined.
If nothing else, it has brought to the public's awareness the idea that the bible and the church were selected and built by humankind. Some will argue that there was divine inspiration involved, but I ask 'where do we draw the line?' Which acts of the church, which stories in the bible are divinely inspired and which are the acts of corrupt individuals? Child abuse, anti-semitism, racism, inquisition, crusades... it's obvious that we need to do reality checks on the teachings of the church. If this book leads people to do that, it's a good thing.

I've read the DA vinci code and i was totally blown away. i believe most of the details mentioned in the book such as the bloodline refers to Jesus crists family in the book it said he was married to Mary Magdalen an was crucified when she was pregnant the fact that Jesus had kids is the big secret that would upset the church because he was supposed to be divine and godlike but wasn't because that was a lie created ten years after Jesus was dead

Dreadful book, dreadful film and nothing more than an excuse to make lots of money. If Jesus etc did exist then I am sure he is proud to be part of a corporate money making machine ,making the few even wealthier, or was it that kind of thing he was allegedly against???

The Da Vinci Code is a novel; a fictional story. How can you base your facts on a painting?

I haven't seen it, but Ive heard about it. Honestly, I have no intentions of seeing it or a desire. I believe in GOD and what he has and is doing in my life and in the lives of people I know or just see. Some people are always looking for another explanation. Evidence of GOD and HIS works are all around us. Its really a matter of what you will believe. If you have faith and believe in something whole heartedly, then nothing should be able to shake that.

I think its easier to believe than the bible. honestly whats more likely: a child born to a virgin mother or a normal man born who had a wife and children. In those days it was unheard of for a jewish man to be unmarried at jesus' age so yeah i really belive its true.
