How to use Bluetooth headset with a Windows XP SP2 notebook?

My configuration (What I got):
Bluetooth headset: Sony Ericsson HBH-600
Driver for that: Nothing
Computer: Notebook computer with no integrated bluetooth
OS: Windows XP Service Pack 2
Bluetooth stack: Default (WinXP one)
Bluetooth adapter: Billington USB bluetooth adapter
Driver for that: Nothing

I know how to use my headset with my phone. But could not use the headset with my notebook. How can I use the headset as a audio out/in device with the notebook. What more do I need. (Drivers etc.)

Good Question I am using a MSI Starkey bluetooth 2 dongle (widcomm). Using it's drivers and exploring available services I can see a service called MY Audio Gateway. this is what the help file says about it:

The Bluetooth Audio Gateway service allows this computer to use a remote Bluetooth device’s microphone and speakers as this computer’s input and output devices.

For example, if this computer has voice recognition capabilities, a Bluetooth headset might be used as the audio input device.

Hardware Requirements
- The Bluetooth radio on both this computer and the remote device must support audio.
- The remote device handles both audio input and output for this computer; therefore, this computer does not require a sound card, microphone, or speakers.

So the first thing you need to do is check wether your Headset supports that protocol. It proably does. So goto your bluetooth places, scan for new devices and double click the headset when it is found and then configure the headset for My Audio Gateway.

I wish I had a bluetooth headset just so i could see if it actually works, I don't think that the quality of sound will be good but it's worth a try.

EDIT:Came back after your email. I am a moron, I was thinking you wanted to listen to your music via the headset.

The best advice i can give you is to go and get the device driver that came with your adapter (you spelt it Billington and if that is the right spelling then it might be a fake(still waiting for the document to download))
