I need some new pictures, background and buttons, so I can reconstruct existing web site for one educational company. Does anyone know where I can find these for free, and without copyright?

you can use http://www.sxc.hu for free large size stock images...and i think there is no copyright violation for using images..

As for free web site hosting, I prefer http://www.geocities.com myself. It's easy to use, with minimal popups & banners as compared to Lycos, Tripod, Angelfire, etc., and it's free. Another good one is http://www.50megs.com

My sister uses something called tripod. There are tons of places online to get freebies..however..be wary because they often require you to sacrifice your first born.
