well i just wanted to ask is that i chat to my frnds thro the yahoo messenger inmy office i wanted to know that wat i chat can it be seen by the server administrator or will my chats be saved on the server. Because i have heard that they scan all my browsing but evn chat details can it be seen

no cuz the chat data is encrypted. it can only be seen if they open your cookies on you PC. Delete them and they will not see what u are up to. don't forget to Del the temp Internet files

Yes, All the messenger chants are saved in the directory where your yahoo messenger is installed and there are some softwares which can track you without you knowing. If you want to clear the chat history that is stored on your computer floow these steps
Sign in to messenger( with the id of which you want to clear the chats)
Click on Messenger
Click on Preferences
Click on Archive
Click on Clear Archive
However, Your chats cant be removed from the yahoo server

Yes, all traffic goes through the server, and the server administrator can see or record chat sessions, if he or she is any good. Get back to work! 8-)

This depends totally on how the server is set up. It is very possible to do though would not be saved and viewed in the way your thinking about it (similar view to messenger).
